This course focuses on the following:
Types of fire:
There are seven different classifications of fire that participants must be aware of, categorised from Class A to Class F. In this course, participants will learn the differences between each classification and where they are most likely to occur.
Company responsibilities:
Participants will learn that employers are responsible for providing the means to extinguish fires, carry out risk assessments and perform regular maintenance checks on fire-fighting equipment and all smoke detectors and fire alarm systems within the workplace. Other responsibilities of the employer that the participant will learn about include:

The appointment of a fire marshall and the roles and responsibilities of the marshal

Having an appointed fire assembly point
